FAWLEY FALCONS YOUTH TOURNAMENT 2022

We are delighted to announce that the Fawley Falcons Youth Tournament will be taking place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July 2022. As before we will be we will be using the new C S Coaching Tournament Management System (TMS) to display live fixtures, results and league tables.

AGE GROUPS AND DATES:

Under 7 – Saturday 2nd July – (8.30am Registration, 9.00am Kick Off)
Under 8 – Saturday 2nd July – (8.30am Registration, 9.00am Kick Off)
Under 9 – Saturday 2nd July – (1.30pm Registration, 2.00pm Kick Off)
Under 10 – Sunday 3rd July – (1.30pm Registration, 2.00pm Kick Off)
Under 10 Girls – Sunday 3rd July – (8.30am Registration, 9.00am Kick Off)
Under 11 – Saturday 2nd July – (1.30pm Registration, 2.00pm Kick Off)
Under 12 – Saturday 2nd July – (8.30am Registration, 9.00 Kick Off)
Under 12 PAN Disability – Sunday 3rd July – (8.30am Registration, 9.00am Kick Off)
Under 13 – Saturday 2nd July – (9.30am Registration, 10.00 Kick Off)
Under 14 – Sunday 3rd July – (9.30am Registration, 10.00am Kick Off)
Under 14 Girls – Sunday 3rd July – (8.30am Registration, 9.00am Kick Off)
Under 16 PAN Disability – Sunday 3rd July – (1.30pm Registration, 2.00pm Kick Off)
(all age groups based on 2021/22 season)

ENTRY FEE:

£30 per team for U7, Under 12 Pan Disability and Under 16 Pan Disability – 5-a-side pitch
£35 per team for U8, U9, U10 and U10 Girls – 7-a-side pitch
£40 per team for U11, U12, and U14 Girls – 9-a-side pitch
£50 per team for U13 and U14 – 11-a-side pitch

Payment must be received within 14 days of entering the tournament. Full refunds will be issued if team withdrawal is before 1st April 2022. No refund will be issued if team withdrawal is after 1st April 2022
If the tournament is cancelled due to Covid 19 guidance changes/lockdown all paid entrants will receive a full refund.

 

SQUAD SIZES AND GAME LENGTH:

Under 7, Under 12 PAN Disability and U16 PAN Disability
5 a-side pitches
5 a-side, maximum 10 players in a team.
10-minute matches, 1 way with 5 minutes in between each match.


U8, U9, U10, U10 Girls
7 a-side pitches
7 a-side, maximum 13 players in a team.
U8 10-minute matches, 1 way with 5 minutes in between each match.
U9, U10 Girls and U10 15-minute matches, 1 way with 5 minutes in between each match.

U11, U12 and U14 Girls
9 a-side pitches
9 a-side, maximum 15 players in a team.
15-minutes matches, 1 way with 5 minutes in between each match.


U13 and U14
11 a-side pitches
11 a-side, maximum 16 players in a team.
20-minute matches, 1 way with 5 minutes in between each match

FORMAT:
U7 teams play on a non-competitive basis, therefore match results are not recorded and no points awarded, although the same format will apply – 1st and 2nd placed teams from each group will go onto to play for the cup final, 3rd and 4th placed teams from each group will go on to play for the plate final.


U8 to U14, U12 PAN and U16 PAN teams play a competitive competition. 1st and 2nd placed teams from each group will go onto play for the cup final, 3rd and 4th placed teams from each group will go on to play for the plate final.

REFRESHMENTS:

Burger van, hot and cold drinks, ice cream, cake and sweet stalls

CAR PARKING:

Car parking is available onsite and parking attendants will be in place to direct all vehicles to park in the school tennis courts and staff parking area. Please do not arrive more than half an hour before your session to reduce parking/vehicle congestion on school grounds.


U13 and U14 will be required to park in the overflow carpark – Gate 3

(This will be marked up and provided in the final information package)


£3 parking fee includes a program.

NEW FOREST ACADEMY SCHOOL RULES:

No dogs allowed (apart from guide/assistance dogs)
No smoking or vaping
No alcohol
